Greg Franklin started his career in Ernst and Young before moving to Steamship Mutual in 2003 to work as an Underwriting Executive on their North American business. In April 2007 he joined the Shipowners' Club Underwriting Department working as Deputy Underwriter on our European book of business before having underwriting authority for the Spanish, Portuguese and Gibraltar based Members while continuing to look after the UK Fishing book and several of the Clubs' UK based offshore Members. Greg was promoted to Underwriter in September 2010 at which point he took over as Underwriter of our Canadian broked Eastern Canadian membership. He will be moving to our Vancouver branch in January 2011.

In his spare time Greg enjoys watching motorsport and playing football.
