NEW! VESSEL SEARCH FACILITY NEW!
It is becoming increasingly common these days for Members to be asked about their insurance cover by various interested parties such as harbour authorities, charterers, governments etc. Evidence of a Member's cover with the Club can of course be provided through production of the vessel's certificate of entry and a copy of the Club Rules. In most cases however such level of detail is not required and for many commercial or administrative purposes a simple check on whether a vessel is entered in the Club will be sufficient.
To assist our Members in demonstrating that a particular vessel is entered in the Club we have developed a facility that will allow harbour authorities, charterers and the like to search our database to see whether a vessel is entered in the Shipowners' Club. The data underlying that search facility is updated every 24 hours and should therefore provide a reasonably up to date list of entered vessels. It is of course possible that changes can occur since the list was last updated, particularly when the insurance cover is due for renewal. Consequently while every effort is being made to ensure that this list is kept up to date its accuracy cannot be completely guaranteed.
We welcome any feedback (feedback@shipowners.co.uk) on any of the information or other material on this website and look forward to hearing from you.
