Since 1855 the Shipowners' Club has provided the owners of
smaller and more specialised vessels with secure, flexible and
reliable Protection & Indemnity insurance. We are the
club for smaller vessels, insuring over 30,000 vessels operating in
many countries and many industries.
Owned by ship owners and governed by ship owners through our
non-executive board of ship owning Members, we work throughout the
world to serve the interests of those operations which we insure,
our Members. And each Member is important to us, whatever their
size or specialisation.
As one of the oldest P&I clubs in the world, we know what

adaptable cover and a swift, sympathetic response to claims. We
