Members of the Shipowners’ Club benefit from the knowledge that they are part of the leading Club for smaller and specialised vessels.
It is important that Members are familiar with the way in which the Club is governed and managed. The Corporate Governance Charter sets out the principles by which the Club is governed and explains the role of the Board, the Managers and their obligations to the Members.
The Directors of the Club are there to represent Member interests and the interests of the Club as a whole. Notwithstanding, Members are welcome to attend the Annual General Meeting and any Extraordinary Meetings which may be held.

Annual General Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Members of The Shipowners’ Mutual Protection and Indemnity Association (Luxembourg) will be held at 16 rue Notre-Dame, L-2240, Luxembourg on Thursday 21 May 2020 at 09.00 hours.
A Member entitled to attend and vote at a meeting is entitled to appoint a proxy to attend and on a poll, to vote instead of them. A proxy need not be a Member of the Association. Given the current difficulties of travel as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and according to the Grand Ducal Regulation dated 20th March 2020, Members are encouraged to utilise their proxy meeting form.
