The claims response service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and provides immediate global assistance to all of our Members.

Calling the emergency contact number provides a quick and effective way to speak directly to a duty Shipowners’ claims handler in the event of an incident or casualty involving an entered vessel.

During office hours the emergency number will redirect to the relevant corresponding office switchboard.

Alternatively, Members can request assistance from our network of correspondents located around the world.

Personal Accident insurance

Our Personal Accident insurances can respond to a range of personal accidents and injuries in relation to crew, passengers and guests. This additional cover is available in conjunction with Club Rules insurance as well as our comprehensive plain language wording policies.

Having no fault Personal Accident cover in place as part of your crew welfare provisions suggests a caring employer and may help to recruit top quality crews. Our Loss Prevention team works closely with Members to ensure awareness of our risk mitigation initiatives and collaborate with experts to create resources that assist Members and their crew to aid with improved health and wellbeing.
