The Club is focussed on delivering consistently high levels of service and we recognise that our success in this depends upon the quality of our staff and our systems.
We understand the importance of developing and maintaining
strong relationships with our Members and their brokers across the
globe. This is vital if we are to fully understand the operational
risks our Members face and so provide the best insurance
service.
Underwriting
Working with our Members and brokers, our underwriters are
able to offer comprehensive and flexible insurance cover, tailored
to the individual needs of each Member. Our marine liability
insurance includes standard P&I risks, as well as Legal and
Defence cover and a range of ancillary risks which vessel owners
may face.
Claims
We are dedicated to helping our Members to find the best
solution to their claims. In all situations we assign a member of
our claims team to handle each claim personally. We are committed
to providing a sensitive and imaginative cost-effective claims
handling service, as well as delivering a prompt and accurate
analysis of claims for reimbursement.
Loss Prevention
Our loss prevention team provides initiatives to assist
Members in minimising their exposure to claims; offering technical
advice, publishing guidance material and managing a ship inspection
programme. We are available to support Members to improve safety
and operational efficiency in their vessels - always with a view to
reducing claims exposure.
